Vacuum Gauge Calibration by Aerocure Vacuum Technologies

Vacuum gauge calibration is the process of verifying and adjusting the accuracy of a vacuum gauge by comparing its readings to a known standard. This ensures the gauge provides reliable and accurate measurements of vacuum levels, which is crucial for various applications where vacuum pressure needs precise control.

Why is it important?

  • Accurate measurements: Vacuum gauges are used in many industries to measure and control vacuum levels, which are critical for processes in pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, and research.
  • Process reliability: Accurate vacuum measurements ensure optimal operation of equipment, prevent equipment failure, and maintain product quality.
  • Cost savings: Regular calibration can identify potential issues early, preventing costly repairs or replacements due to gauge malfunction.
  • Compliance with standards: Calibration ensures adherence to industry standards and regulations.

How is it done?

  • Comparison to a standard: A reference vacuum gauge or a device that can generate a known vacuum is used to compare against the gauge being calibrated.
  • Verification and adjustment: The vacuum gauge’s readings are compared to the reference standard at various points within its measurement range.
  • Recalibration: If the gauge’s readings deviate significantly from the standard, it may need to be adjusted or recalibrated to ensure accuracy.

Why Aerocure Vacuum Technologies for calibration?

Our Vacuum gauge calibration includes evaluating devices that report vacuum, absolute and gauge measurements. Zero and span adjustments where ever necessary in consultation with customer. We calibrate all types of vacuum measurement instrument, including digital and analog vacuum gauge calibration.

  • Capacitance manometer range from 1000torr to 0.00001torr
  • Pirani vacuum gauge: range 0.00001 mbar to 1000 mbar.
  • Cold cathode vacuum gauges: 1000 mbar to 0.000001 mbar range.
  • Handheld battery operated refrigeration vacuum gauges.

we are work with you to establish a schedule for each vacuum measurement device that requires recalibration. We can then provide timely vacuum calibration notifications.

Work execution:

We are having trained and expert calibration staff who carry the master reference vacuum gauge along with the high Vacuum calibration unit to the customer site.

The master calibration references

  • for medium vacuum range up to 0.1 micro bar or 0.0001 mbar will be capacitance manometer
  • for high vacuum measurement from 0.01 mbar to 10e-6 mbar the master will be the Cold cathode vacuum gauges.
  • All the masters will have the valid NPL or NIST traceable certificates.

Lead time to attend the calibration:

Lead time to attend the calibration from the date of receipt of confirmed order 7 days.
